So, my sister is due in 8 weeks, I am not too sure right now how I feel about this...even after 7 months.
First off, my sister is well, immature to say the least, she is 26 never lived alone, unless you count the 3 months she worked at an apt complex and ended up getting evicted and being homeless for the second time in her life at 18(there have been about 5 times she has been homeless)
She has a tendency to use people to get what she wants, like when she had no place to go a cpl of years ago and moved here, lived with us for almost 2 years for FREE including not paying for medication, and cigarettes, then moved out as soon as hubby was laid off because she didn't want to help out and wanted to be "happy and free" what ever that means.
She also decided after the father left her before he knew she was preg that she was giving the baby up for adoption(this after she purposely got pregnant to begin with) Then he came back, he's married now by the way, he left her to go be with his ex whom he married and came back to NY with. So, now she is keeping the baby and well lets be honest she is flaky as hell. He says he wants to be a part of the child's life but I am afraid that once his wife gets pregnant that will change, or he may decide he wants custody...I have no idea what to think about all this.
And to top it off, I am 10 yrs older than her and haven't been preg yet and it doesn't look like I will be...soooo now what?
I will be the aunt of James Owens Field.....I am stumped, don't get me wrong I will love it, but not sure I am happy with the situation, I am honestly waiting on the day when she has no place to go again and I will have to tell her no, baby or not because she just can't appreciate what ppl do for her, and that day is coming, it has happened 3 times since we got back into contact with each other back in 2004...
And now I am sick...thanks to hubby I have a really nasty summer cold...and I mean REALLY nasty
